SRS Homestay Storage Policy
StudentRoomStay Homestay (SRS Homestay) does not provide long-term storage for students’ personal belongings beyond their active stay period, unless approved in writing. The following rules apply:
-
During an Active Stay:
Students may store belongings in their assigned room. Hosts must provide a clean and safe space for basic storage of personal items.
-
Temporary Absences:
If a student is away temporarily (e.g. holiday), they must follow the Room Holding Policy, including any required fees, to retain their room and store belongings.
-
After Move-Out:
Students are expected to remove all belongings upon move-out. SRS Homestay and host families are not responsible for items left behind unless prior arrangements are made.
-
Unclaimed Items:
Belongings left without notice beyond 7 days of a student’s scheduled departure may be discarded, donated, or stored at the discretion of the host or SRS Homestay. Costs incurred may be charged to the student.
-
No Hazardous Materials:
Students may not store flammable, hazardous, or illegal materials in their homestay room or on the host’s property at any time.
