What are the requirements to host?
To host with StudentRoomStay, you must:
- Be at least 25 years old
- Provide a clean, furnished, and safe guest bedroom
- Have reliable internet and access to laundry
- Be fluent in English or able to communicate clearly
- Complete a background check (for all adults 18+ in the home)
- Finish the host training and virtual inspection and onboarding.
No prior experience is needed — just a welcoming home and a desire to support a student.
